BUILDING PERMITS:
Town issued building permits are required for all new construction (homes, garages, sheds) with a value of $2500 or more. The cost is .002% of the value. Minimum is $40. The town issued building permits can be obtained by contacting the Town of Glenwood, Chairman.
New home construction, remodeling, and attached garages also need a building permit issued by the Building Inspector.
You must have your building permits before you start any construction.
DRIVEWAY PERMITS:
A driveway permit is required for all new driveways. The cost of a driveway permit is $20. Please remember that driveways cannot be put anywhere and need to be approved before they are put in. Contact the Town of Glenwood, Chairman, for your driveway permit.
